The Granary; a holiday cottage sleeping up to 4 people.
The Granary is a two bedroom self-catering holiday cottage sleeping up to four people. It provides two storey accommodation and was converted, as the name suggests, from the original farm granary. It is a beautiful cottage with original exposed beams and sandstone walls two feet thick.
The master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom whilst the second bedroom has two full sized single beds. Downstairs there is a large separate wet-room providing level access to the shower for ease of entry. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with heating and hot water provided by our Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP - see our blog for more details) along with a large, open plan lounge and dining area. There is a patio at the rear of the property which is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening or having a barbecue on warm summer days. A cot is provided for parents with young children along with a high chair and stair gate.
Parking is provided for two cars but if you wish to have friends and family to visit whilst staying with us we can provide ample additional parking. We have also added an electric vehicle charger which is available to all guests. The children's play area at the front of the holiday cottage provides plenty of room for football and cricket matches and we have several farm walks offering beautiful views and a chance to see what is happening on the rest of the farm. Our all inclusive price includes heating, lighting, linen, and towels and we provide free high speed internet access to the cottage. Our minimum let is for three nights and we run our booking weeks from Saturday to Saturday, but if your arrival or departure date falls on a different day we will do our best to accommodate you. The cottage is available on the day of arrival from 4pm however if you wish to leave bags at the farmhouse before this time you can do so by prior arrangement. We ask that the cottage is vacated by 10am on the day of your departure so that we have time to prepare it for our next guests.
Although The Granary makes an ideal holiday cottage for families it also provides excellent accommodation for business users too. If you are working in Northampton, Rugby or Daventry The Granary offers an excellent alternative to the major hotel chains and provides an economic self catering option.
